AFGHANISTAN - AT THE HEART OF HELMAND'S WAR
A young boy, who has a skin infection on his head, waits to see a doctor in the OPD room of Bost Hospital, that is supported by MSF, n Lashkar Gah, Helmand, Afghanistan on the 24th January, 2011. After nearly ten years of war in Helmand, thousands of people are unable to access healthcare, having to travel long distances along dangerous roads to reach Bost, the only hospital in the province.
