MOLDOVA - POVERTY IN EUROPE
One of the sons of Valentina Ianciuc, holds up his bowl of pickled fish as he walks to the table to eat at his mothers home in the village of Pivniceni, in Donduseni, Moldova on the 28th June, 2011. Valentina has nine children by two different fathers, none of whom support her. When her first husband left she was forced to place her four eldest sons in an institution. But she is now receiving support from CCF, an NGO supported by UNICEF, to help her keep her children at home.
